The Department of Public Works is responsible for construction, renovation and operation of public facilities and infrastructure ranging from curbside collection and graffiti removal to maintenance of sidewalks, bridges, sewers and streetlights, and from maintenance of wastewater treatment plants to design of public buildings. |

Los Angeles, California --Dean Ryan Consultants has been awarded a contract valued up to $20 million dollars, from the Department of the Interior, Bureau of Reclamation, Mid-Pacific Region. Dean Ryan will provide Water Resources and Environmental Planning Services including engineering, economics, environmental, natural and social sciences primarily in support of the CALFED Bay-Delta and Central Valley Program Improvement Act (CVPIA) programs. The purpose of the project is to protect, restore and enhance fish, wildlife, and associated habitats, support the development of a long-term comprehensive plan that will restore ecological health and improve water management for beneficial uses within the Bureau of Reclamation, Mid-Pacific Region.
