Dean Ryan was a sub-consultant with MWH for the Civil Part B � Yard Piping for the Silver Lake Headworks Reservoir Project.  Prior to commencing the pipe design work, MWH provided the existing CADD files for the project including grading plan, site plan, and other plans as necessary to Dean Ryan.  Dean Ryan managed the following tasks:

Design of Part B - Yard Piping

• Yard piping design
• Drain line including reservoir floor drains
• Reservoir under drains
• Sanitary lift station
• Stationing based upon control from LADWP.
• Pipe plan and profiles
• Connection details
• Overflow piping to LA River - the exact location of this piping is not known at this time.
• Support overflow permit to LA River from USACE
• QA/QC:  Specifications/Covers/Report Assist

Project Controls & Scheduling

• Weekly progress reports including weekly activity and earned value report

Project Management

• Project management
• Design coordination between MWH and Dean Ryan
• Meetings with LADWP

Dean Ryan was also involved in the construction support, construction management services of the project upon requested, and assisted LADWP, Lee&Ro, and MWH reviewing overall project plans and specifications documentation for this phase of the project.
